A guide to your next move.
Welcome to Relaxed Spider
Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on hzxydec.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns.
The relaxed difference
Keep these points in mind. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.
Ten columns and a stock
Keep these points in mind. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five.
Descending rank placement
Keep these points in mind. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement.
Move a group
A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column.
Keep space available
The following details apply here. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column.
Stock deals are still shared
A few details help explain this feature. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination.
Clear the table
The following details apply here. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs.
Try another decision
Here are the details for this mode. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
Separate variant progress
Keep these points in mind. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled.
