A FAMILIAR CARD RITUAL · WITH ROOM TO THINK

2 Suits

Find a useful balance between moving ranks and sorting suits. A spare column can help you rearrange a difficult sequence.

Meet two-suit Spider

The two-suit layout begins with ten columns and fifty cards in the stock. Each rank appears four times in each suit. This mode uses 104 cards divided between spades and hearts. You still need eight complete same-suit runs to finish the game.

Build a descending column

On this website, the following points apply. A six of hearts can therefore sit on a seven of spades. A card may land on an exposed card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. Check both rank and suit before trying to move several cards together. A mixed-suit build does not become a movable group merely because its ranks descend.

Keep the suit together

Here is what to know. You may still move a smaller same-suit segment from the bottom of the column. A movable group is a face-up descending sequence containing only one suit. You can select the first card of that group to move every card below it. A suit change inside the selected cards stops the group from moving together.

Complete a run

The key details are straightforward. Both suits contribute to the total of eight runs needed to win. A red-and-black King-to-Ace column does not count as a completed run. A complete sequence must run from King to Ace in one suit. The game removes a qualifying sequence automatically and updates the run counter.

Separate mixed builds

On this website, the following points apply. Plan how you might separate that mixed build before extending it further. Matching suits often reduces the number of individual moves needed later. A temporary mixed-suit move can expose a hidden card or release an empty column. An empty column can hold one segment while you reconnect the remaining cards.

Keep room to work

Here is what to know. Any legal movable group can occupy an empty column. Moving a King into a spare column can make space, but the King cannot later land on another rank. Fill every empty column before requesting another stock deal. You can sometimes return a shorter segment to its original column after exposing a useful card.

Add ten new cards

Each stock deal adds one face-up card to every column. Five such deals are available at the beginning of the game. Review exposed moves and empty-column plans before using the stock. The new cards can create matching suit connections or block existing ones.

Learn with undo

The timer is not rewound when you undo. Use Replay if you want to restart the same shuffled deal from the beginning. Undo can reverse a stock deal as well as a normal card move. Undo also restores cards that were turned over or collected by the reversed action.

Practice the transition

On this website, the following points apply. A suggested move is a possibility to investigate rather than a guaranteed route to victory. Revealing hidden cards gradually broadens your choices. One-suit experience helps with rank order, but two suits adds a separate suit constraint for group movement. Keeping several short matching runs can be easier to manage than one long mixed run.

Your two-suit session

Here is what to know. New game replaces the current two-suit deal with a fresh shuffle. Two-suit progress is stored separately from one-suit and four-suit progress in this browser. Turning off local saving removes stored game progress and statistics on this domain. The game can still run for the current visit when browser storage is unavailable.
